3.4. Full-Text Search
(available when the dfx-elastic package is installed)
The system allows users to perform full-text search across such fields of created documents as the document number, document type, short description, and attachments (document image and document attachments).
In the Documents workspace, the user must select the Context Search shortcut. After that, the context search form will open.
| Field Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Search* | A text input field used for full-text search. Users can modify full-text search parameters using the following symbols: - + specifies the AND operation; - | specifies the OR operation; - - excludes a word; - " specifies a phrase consisting of several words; - * specifies search by the beginning of a word; - ( and ) specify grouping order. |
| Document Type | The document type for which the search will be performed. By default, the search is performed across all document types. |
| All Time / By Period | The All Time / By Period toggle. By default, the search is performed across all time periods. When the toggle is switched to By Period, users can select dates for the search. |
| Creation Date / Registration Date | Available when the toggle is switched to By Period. Users can choose whether the search will be performed based on the Document Creation Date or the Document Registration Date in the system. |
| Period "from" and "to" | Available when the toggle is switched to By Period. Users can select a date range in the calendar for document search. |
After the user selects the Search button, the system performs a search across such fields of created documents as the document number, document type, short description, and attachments (document image and document attachments). The search is performed for the selected time period and for the document type selected by the user in the form.
After the full-text search is completed, the system displays a list of documents for which the search was successful, highlighting the specified text in the matching attributes.
