3.3. Document Container

(available when the dfx-ua-sign-file-export package is installed)

The system allows you to export a document container with configurable visual placement of signatures on document images during export. Export rules can be used for file attributes to export them with signature visualization.

In the document type designer, on the Designer tab, you can add a file-type attribute. After that, in the attribute settings, in the Export rules section, you can add a visualization file — a container.

The File actionDownload signed container is available.

Container settings can be configured in the Designer. To do this, enable the Add visualization file toggle. After that, the following settings become available:

  • Allow user changes toggle — when enabled, users can choose signature placement settings themselves
  • Select page for QES — first or last
  • QES display order — from first to last or from last to first
  • QES placement — bottom-right corner, bottom-left corner, top-right corner, or top-left corner
  • Related elements — select file attributes available on the form that will be exported together

To export a container, open the Documents workspace and select the configured document with file attributes. File attributes support export rules with settings configured for this document on the Designer tab in the Studio workspace.

After selecting the Download signed container button, the system prompts the user to save the file.

The system then exports the container with the current document number and the configured settings. After that, signed documents are downloaded, and the system generates a file image in the .pdf format according to the configured settings. Documents in the .doc and .docx formats are converted to .pdf.

If the Allow user changes toggle is enabled in the export rule settings, selecting the Download signed container button opens a form with export rule settings. The system then exports the container with the current document number and the settings specified by the user.
