2.14.6. AI Summarization

The AI Summarization feature allows you to automatically create concise and clear summaries of large documents, saving time on reading and analyzing voluminous information.

2.14.6.1. Configure AI Summarization​

To configure document summarization using artificial intelligence, follow these steps:

  1. Create an AI model subscription and generate a key — create an account with your desired AI provider and generate an API key to configure the provider integration with the Nectainium platform.
  2. Add an AI model — configure the provider integration with the Nectainium platform.
  3. Create a scenario — configure a scenario that will summarize documents of a certain type. This step is optional, as you can use the system scenario sys_doc_summarize_in_doc_lang to summarize in the document language instead of creating your own scenario.
  4. Run scenario execution — users with Admin or Developer roles can manually run the scenario to test its functionality.
  5. Apply the scenario — choose whether you want to apply the created scenario as the default scenario for the entire platform, or use it selectively for individual document types. You can also combine these approaches if you have multiple AI scenarios. For example, you can apply the system scenario as the default scenario for the entire platform, and use your own scenario for specific document types.
  6. Use the scenario — after completing all configuration, start summarizing the required documents.

2.14.6.2. Summarize PDF File Content​

  1. Open the document for which you want to generate a short summary of the file attribute.

    1 In the navigation panel, select the Documents workspace.

    2 Select the Documents shortcut.

    3 Select the required document.

  2. Find the file attribute for which you want to generate a short summary.

  3. In the attribute toolbar, select the Summarize button.

In the new panel on the right, you will see the summary of the file content.

In the toolbar, select the following icons to perform actions with the text:

  • Delete summary
  • Screenshot Copy summary
  • New summary
