2.10.4. Docusign
The Docusign Integration feature is available only when the additional package dfx-docusign is installed.
The platform includes integration with Docusign — a service for electronic document signing (integration type: Internal Application). The integration allows users to connect their Docusign account to Nectainium, send files for signing, and track envelope statuses in real time.
2.10.4.1. Configure Docusign Integration
Configuring the Docusign integration consists of the following mandatory stages:
- Docusign configuration — creating a developer profile, generating keys, and adding a custom configuration.
- Nectainium configuration — adding the Docusign profile in the platform and saving the keys and integration parameters.
- Switching the environment to production mode — activating the integration after testing and transitioning to production mode.
- Updating Nectainium configuration with production data — after switching to production mode, all keys generated within the test account must be recreated and their records updated in the Nectainium platform.

-
Go to the Docusign developers website and log in to your new account with a paid subscription.
-
Complete steps 2–4 from section Configure Docusign.
-
Open the Docusign profile you configured in the Nectainium platform:
-
In the navigation panel, select the Studio 1 workspace.
-
Select the Integration 2 shortcut group, then select the Docusign 3 shortcut group.
-
Select the Docusign Profile 4 shortcut.
-
Select the required profile 5.
-
-
Update the values of the following fields with the data you generated in step 2:

https://account.docusign.com/oauth/auth?response_type=code&scope=signature%20impersonation&client_id=******************&redirect_uri=https://nectainium/environmentwhere:
https://nectainium/environment— the URL of your Nectainium environment (for example, https://demo.nectainium.dev/).client_id=******************— the Integration Key of your App in Docusign.
Example: Suppose your Integration Key is 9a37258d-e4d2-4ce3-8afb-a5741b79881f and the URL of your Nectainium environment is https://nectainium.dev/.
In that case, the authorization URL will be:
https://account.docusign.com/oauth/auth?response_type=code&scope=signature%20impersonation&client_id=9a37258d-e4d2-4ce3-8afb-a5741b79881f&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fnectainium.dev%2F -
Follow the generated link, then select Allow access.
-
After these steps, your platform will be fully integrated with Docusign and ready for further interactions with the service.
2.10.4.2. Update Templates

- Needs to Sign — this action is assigned to all recipients by default until another is selected. It provides the maximum set of capabilities.
- Specify Recipients — allows the specified recipient to enter the name and email for recipient roles that are at the same stage or later in the signing order.
- Receives a Copy — allows sending the document to a recipient who does not need to sign or edit it. This recipient can view, download, and print the document, but cannot sign or modify it.

- Allow to Edit — gives the recipient the ability to make changes to the recipient list and the document during the signing process. This recipient must have a valid Docusign account.
- Update Recipients — allows the assigned recipient to edit the data of other recipients who have not yet signed the documents (i.e., signers later in the signing queue).
Note:If you added more than one recipient, you can set the signing order. To do this, in the Add Recipients section, select the Set Signing Order 1 checkbox, then enter sequential numbers next to the added recipients' cards 2.
